Common Areas
October 28, 2024
It has come to our attention that children were asked to move away from the common areas adjoining Pleasant Pine Street. To clarify, the vacant land adjacent to homes on Pleasant Pine is part of the HOA-maintained common areas, which all residents, including children, have the right to access and enjoy. Given that our community lacks a designated play area, these common spaces offer a safe and appropriate place for children to play.
While some homeowners may have privacy concerns, such as balls occasionally entering their backyards or disturbances from noise, it’s important to remember that homes bordering common areas—like those near the pool—come with shared responsibilities. Privacy can be respected by encouraging children not to throw items into neighboring yards and by observing quiet hours to minimize disruptions. Minor inconveniences should be managed through friendly communication among neighbors, or by involving the HOA if necessary. Otherwise, we encourage everyone to support community harmony by respecting each resident’s right to use the common areas as intended by the HOA.
